Training your dog to use the Puppy
Park Potty
If you are starting out with your dog training, it is
highly recommended that you closely observe your puppy
first. Note the usual time that your puppy shows signs
that it is going to poop and pee. Dogs usually give
warning signs when they are about to do their thing.
Make sure that your puppy is always within your sight or
put him in an area where the PuppyParkPotty is also
placed. You can instruct, or demonstrate to your puppy
to go directly to the PuppyParkPotty when nature is
already calling. This is the point where you have to be
more patient and pay more attention to your dog.
Here is how you can start with your PuppyParkPotty
training. You will need cleaning supplies such as paper
towels, brooms, wipes, and mops. These are important in
order to keep the PuppyParkPotty dirt and odor free. You
can also get crystal cat little or dog litter if you
desire. Or if you like, you can try absorbent pee-pads
or used newspapers. Remember that dogs poop and pee
differently as do other common pet animals like cats, so
choose which you think will suit your dog best. Also,
make sure to clean the area regularly and that your
dog's waste can easily be disposed.
Get your dog to be familiar with the PuppyParkPotty by
making use of its keen sense of smell. Try soaking a
little amount of your puppy's pee in towel or newspaper
and put it in the PuppyParkPotty. The puppy will
associate the smell with the PuppyParkPotty, which may
condition him to go there whenever he needs to.
It is important that both you and your puppy should be
having fun throughout the course of the training. Make
your training as sweet, simple and short as possible. Do
not force if the puppy is tired, looks lonely or does
not pay any attention at all to your commands. You can
resume the training the next day.
It may take you a considerable amount of time to see
results, so you must learn to be very patient. Encourage
your puppy to exert effort instead of punishing him if
it doesn't follow what you want it to do and always
reward your pet for every good performance that he
makes. After a while, you can be confident about your
dogs not pooping or peeing just anywhere they wish.
Simply put, you need to keep your PuppyParkPotty
training at a steady pace. Putting in a lot of patience
and perseverance can guarantee you lasting benefits for
both you and your dog
